PHCC Initiates ‘Back to Normal’ Plan

- Face-to-face consultations at a 50% capacity for all services.

- Health centers continue to provide virtual consultations based on the patient's preferences.

- Rawdat Al Khail Health Center continues to operate as a designated COVID-19 center.

- Drive-through facilities continue to provide testing services in health centers.

In line with the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions nationwide, a 3 phased implementation plan has been outlined between February and April 2022. With Phase 1, effective from Tuesday, 1st February 2022, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has initiated a ‘Back to Normal Plan’.

As part of the plan, all PHCC Health Centers will offer 50% face-to-face consultation across all services, such as, the Family Medicine Model (FMM), Dental General, Dental Specialty, and all Specialty services.

Virtual consultations will also continue to be provided, as per patient preference. The Rawdat Al Khail Health Center will continue to operate as a COVID-19 dedicated Health Center, and Drive-Through swabbing services will be provided at PHCC Health Centers, until further notice. In addition, SMART clinics and Dental services will function at 50%, and the Community Call Center will offer urgent consultations.

PHCC is taking stringent preventive measures to control the spread of the COVID-19 virus and ensure safety. These measures include smart scheduling of appointments, the use of personal protective equipment, social distancing, regular virus testing for staff, as well as strict hygiene and disinfection protocols.
