Her Excellency Dr. Mariam Ali Abdul Malik, Managing Director of the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), officially launched the Periodic Occupational Health Assessment Program for employees from various administrative, medical, technical, and nursing departments. The program was launched at the Staff Clinic located in PHCC’s Headquarter, Tower (2).
This program offers employees the opportunity for early detection of occupational diseases through medical testing, with assessments scheduled every three years to ensure employees’ health and fitness for duty.
The clinic’s opening was attended by Mr. Musallam Mubarak Al Nabit, Assistant Managing Director; Dr. Samya Ahmad Al Abdulla, Executive Director of Operations; Dr. Maryam Abdulla Al Muslemani, Director of Occupational Health and Safety; along with Dr. Zuleikha Al Wahedi, Dr. Hanan Al Mujalli, Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Ali, the clinic’s physicians, and members of the Occupational Health and Safety team.
In her speech during the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Mariam Ali Abdul Malik stated:

In line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and the National Health Strategy, we take pride in launching this program, which demonstrates our firm commitment to fostering a safe and healthy work environment and contributes to the broader national goals of public health promotion and sustainable human development.
This program enables the early detection of work-related health concerns and empowers our staff to take charge of their well-being. We strongly encourage everyone to actively participate in this initiative—not only for their personal health, but also as part of our collective responsibility to build a healthier, more resilient workforce for the future of Qatar.”
Early Indicators of Risk
Dr. Maryam Abdulla Al Muslemani, Director of Occupational Health and Safety Directorate at PHCC, also addressed attendees, stating: “I am pleased to welcome you all to the official launch of the Periodic Occupational Health Assessment Program—a vital step forward in our ongoing commitment to employee health, safety, and well-being.
This program is not just an achievement; it is a clear reflection of our alignment with the National Health Strategy, which emphasizes the importance of proactive occupational health measures across all sectors through the development of comprehensive guidelines.”
She added: “Aligned with these national priorities, we have developed a job risk analysis and assessment model tailored to healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of all PHCC employees.
This launch would not have been possible without the leadership and guidance of our Managing Director, Dr. Mariam Abdul Malik, whose continuous support for employee welfare is the foundation of our strategic direction.
