Umm Slal Health Center resumes full operations

08 Jul 2021

Umm Slal HC
Registered patients can return for regular appointments and follow-ups

The past year and a half has seen quick actions and precautions taken by Qatar in healthcare to prevent and limit the spread of COVID-19. As part of this effort, Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and partners, proactively designated health centers to be Test & Hold facilities for all suspect cases of COVID-19.

In line with the national lifting of restrictions, PHCC has proceeded to phase out and resume normal services to provide complete healthcare services to the patients registered at its health centers. Umm Slal Health center will be deactivated as a COVID-19 facility from July 9th.

As  PHCC recover from COVID-19, our aim is not just to return to normal, but to redouble our efforts by advancing our healthcare services. During this challenging time, we have redesigned care to ensure it is accessible to all, investing in digital services that have been critical to managing COVID. As the restrictions continue to ease, we look forward to moving to full operation mode and continuing to provide our patients access to facilities for routine disease management, preventive screenings and routine care.

Umm Slal health center will be deactivated as a COVID-19 facility from July 9, 2021 and patients required to do the COVID-19 related tests at Umm Slal health center will be redirected to the Rawdat Al Khail health center.

PHCC encourages everyone registered at Umm Slal health center to return to care and avail of full healthcare services at their registered health center.
