Adolescent health

Scope of Service

The Adolescent Friendly Health Service is a comprehensive health package of both physical health and psychosocial screening provided to adolescent aged 10-18 years. The adolescent friendly health service is integrated across all clinics and composed of a general physical examination, screening and management of common health problems affecting this age group. The psycho-social assessment is undertaken using a tool which provides an indication of which areas in the adolescent’s life need attention, where counselling, health promotion, further investigation or management care are required.
