The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the resumption of the memory clinic services at Rawdat Al Khail Health Center in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
The service will be provided by a specialized team under the supervision of consultants in the field of geriatrics, psychiatrics, and occupational health with the support of nurses from PHCC.
In addition, PHCC pointed out that the memory clinic services are now available in three health centers: Leabaib, Rawdat Al Khail and Al Wajbah. Patients over the age of 60 will undergo a thorough assessment is to detect any memory related concerns.
The memory clinic will resume receiving patients at Rawdat Al Khail Health Center starting today, January 4, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. PHCC has also specified that in order to access the service, patients need to be referred to the clinic by the family physician in the mentioned health centers.
It’s also important to note that the Memory Clinic service is available at Rawdat Al Khail Health Center for both Qatari and non-Qatari patients every Wednesday in the morning shift, starting from today, January 4.
The service is also available at Leabaib HC for Qatari patients only, every Sunday in the morning shift, as well as Al Wajbah HC for both Qatari and non-Qatari patients every Monday in the morning shift.
