The Baby-Friendly Initiative at PHCC strives to secure accreditation from WHO and UNICEF by promoting and supporting exclusive breastfeeding for six months and continued breastfeeding for up to two years. Breastfeeding counseling is offered during antenatal and postnatal periods, as well as at each Well Baby Clinic visit, to ensure proper infant nutrition and address common breastfeeding challenges.
Target Group
Pregnant and new mothers, along with children from birth up to age 2 or older, depending on the mother and child's choice.
